Brookside Service inside Douglas County Jail

One of Brookside Core Values is All People Matter To God. Working with Good New Global (formerly Good News Jail and Prison Ministry), Brookside Difference Makers go inside the jail each Sunday to watch services together to let them know that God loves them and they matter to Him. Inmates in several housing units can choose to attend worship services on Sundays during a guard change (2:00pm - 4:00pm). The inmates join Brookside Difference Makers in a "day room" area to worship, pray and listen to the message via DVD. After services, Difference Makers pray over the group and encourage the inmates to study through the Reflection Questions provided. All Difference Makers must pass background checks and participate in training before serving at DCC.
