Find God

A consistent, primary message of the Bible is that God is the Creator of everything, and that Jesus is the true King of creation.  However, the Bible also tells us that humanity does not naturally submit to God's rule; instead, we all set up "rival kingdoms" and rather than worshipping God we worship ourselves or something else.  This is the essence of what the Bible calls "sin" and creates a chasm between us and God.

 

In the midst of this rebellion, God persisted in demonstrating his love to us - ultimately and finally in sending His Son Jesus Christ to earth to die on the cross for our sins.  Jesus bore the punishment we deserve and defeated death by rising again on the third day.  All who are willing to sacrifice their rival kingdoms and submit to Jesus Christ, trusting in His work on the cross for their salvation, are reconciled to God and have eternal life.
