![]() Resolution
Living in an uncertain world, we can know with certainty what the future holds. This is a bold statement to make, but one that's true. It's true because God who created time itself, is now working to bring about his perfect will...all to be accomplished within his perfect time. And all of which, is revealed to us in the last book of the Bible. The New Testament book of Revelation.
![]() Reset
There are two times a year when we are most likely to reset ourselves. January is one of those times. The end of summer and the beginning of fall is the other. It marks the beginning of another school year for our children. It's a start up time for activities put on hold for the summer. It's a time when we re-engage ourselves in the disciplined and scheduled side of life. It's a good time to push the reset button and make plans to maximize the remaining months of the year.
![]() Satisfied
Today it seems like people spend most of their lives longing to be satisfied. We're all looking for that next "something" to give us the pleasure and joy we've been looking for. Unfortunately, nothing ever seems to fully satisfy...nothing ever seems to last. Where can we go to quench that thirst?
![]() God & Country
Few topics are as polarizing in America today as the issue of politics. Common threads that once facilitated unity of purpose have become a rope being used in a tug-of-war. Now, as much as ever, it is important for followers of Jesus to develop a view of politics that is rooted in God's Word - not simply to take a side in the current "tug-of-war" but rather to contribute to the common good of our society through faithfulness to God's Word.

![]() D6 Families
The 6th chapter of Deuteronomy contains what Jesus said is the greatest command - the command to love God with all our heart, soul and strength. It's very significant that immediately following this command, is God's instruction for parents to teach and live out all of God's commands in the life of their family. This sermon series focuses on the privilege and responsibility that is ours as parents to be the primary disciplers of our children's spiritual lives.

![]() Newell and Colleen Cerak are the parents of Whitney Cerak. Whitney was thought to have died in a tragic car accident involving a number of college students. The Ceraks share their story about the two families whose lives were intertwined forever on a journey that tested each to the limit.
![]() Therefore
This series unwraps how God's grace is lived out in the lives of those who receive the salvation described by Paul in the first eight chapters of Romans. Paul begins the 12th chapter with these words - "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship." What this means in practical living is spelled out in chapter 12.
Redemption
This series explores all that's involved in God's solution to what's wrong with the human race. Through the first eight chapters of Romans we're shown how God solves the dilemma of our sin and empowers us to live with purpose and joy.
All You Need Is Love
![]() Debated
Let's face it, there are some issues that are hotly debated today. Christian thinking doesn't always line up with popular opinion. IN this series, we will provide a reasoned response to some of the hardest questions facing Christianity.
![]() It Would Take A Miracle
Is there an impossible situation in your life that only a miracle could change? No matter how hard we try, we all have certain issues that just keep staring us in the face, robbing our happiness and keeping us stuck. If your Christmas wishes include a miracle, join us for this series through the month of December. You'll learn that nothing - not even your problem - is impossible for God.
From Surviving to Thriving
Ever felt like your main goal of the holiday’s was “survival”…all you wanted to do was to get through the holidays and come out ok on the other end? What if in the midst of all the holiday fury this Christmas Season, you finish and you say of yourself… “this Christmas was different. I thrived spiritually.”
![]() Just One
This two week series focuses on the mission given to us as followers of Jesus Christ. We're to reach a spiritually lost world with the message of God's grace through Christ's death on the cross. The key word for these two sermons is the word "one." It points to the ability and opportunity we all have to help "one" other person understand this message.
![]() Guaranteed Fresh
A Series in the Book of Judges
The book of Judges is an ancient book. But in some ways there's not a lot of difference between the world back then and our world today. Which means we face some of the same issues people faced then. We share common ground. And God's truth spoken to the people then is every bit as relevant to our lives today. This is a very old book, but the truth it contains is guaranteed fresh for you and me today.
2 Sides of Evangelism
For our faith in Jesus Christ to gain a hearing from people in today's world, it requires that what we say be in partnership with what we do. More often than not, words alone are insufficient to lead a person to faith in Jesus Christ. They need to see how our faith is lived out in serving. This two week series looks at these two sides of evangelism.
Ready, Set, Go!
Lasting spiritual growth comes about through the choices we make every day. Are your choices leading you to spiritual strength and vitality? This three Sunday series focuses on three priorities we're encouraging each person attending Brookside to put front and center in their lives. Join us each week as we examine the biblical basis for these life changing priorities, Sunday morning worship, LIFEgroups and Serving.
![]() Christ In Me
When we think of our relationship with Jesus, it is easy to forget that He lives within each redeemed heart through His Holy Spirit. In these weeks ahead, we will focus on three major ways we can engage with God personally; those being through the sacraments of Baptism and Communion, and in learning how to really grow in Christ through personal devotion.
Persuaded by Truth
A Series in Luke
Immerse yourself in Luke’s gospel, do this with an open heart to God’s truth, and you’ll come away hungry to be holy, to be authentic in your spiritual walk, and to not waste life with nonessentials. This happens because Luke does for us today what he did for those who first received this book. He provides an intelligent, thorough and convincing record of Christ’s life and teaching. And by doing this, shows that following Jesus Christ is not a blind leap of faith but a wisely chosen course for every person persuaded by truth. This is an extended series that will provide a comprehensive understanding of the Christian faith. It will equip us with the truth of who Jesus is, the truth of what He taught and how this truth can infuse every part of our lives.
