Global Impact

Global Impact Overview

We desire to be a church that is serving people and making a difference beyond the walls of our building. Community Impact refers to our ministry in the local community and Global Impact refers to our international ministry.

We believe that Jesus came to offer us the eternal kind of life. This life is experienced by becoming Jesus' apprentice so that we can learn to live and love like Him. Brookside's Global Impact ministries exist to help share this good news with the world.

And this ministry may take on many forms. It may be explaining how to experience eternal life to people that have not yet heard of the good news. It may be training leaders to be more effective in ministering to others, or it may even involve serving the poor to help live out the love of Jesus in a hurting world.

But in a growing measure, Brookside as a church family will also be getting directly involved in doing global ministry as an extension of our church. We will be developing relationships with local churches and ministries in other countries and partnering with them in their work. A part of this effort will include sending Brooksiders on short term trips to help strengthen our relationship with our foreign partners and to help support their ministry. One day, Brookside also hopes to help in planting a church in a part of the world that has few Christ followers
