HOW EARLY DO I NEED TO ARRIVE?
Due to the popularity of this event, it is a good idea to arrive as early as possible. The event begins at 11:00 a.m and ends at 2:00 p.m. Shuttle busses will begin to drop off at 10:45 a.m. and will run until 2:15 p.m.
IS THERE A COST?
Activities provided by Brookside Church are free.
WILL THERE BE FOOD TO EAT AT THIS EVENT?
We are excited to partner with local food vendors to provide a variety of eating options for purchase.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
We will have the Egg Drop rain or shine. However, if there is lightning or a heavy fog it will prevent the helicopter from being a part of our event.
Where do I park?
Our parking team will fill the upper parking lot at Brookside first and then our lower lot. Shuttle busses will pick you up at the Farm Credit parking lots and drop you off on Brookside's campus.
HOW WILL I BE ABLE TO LOCATE EVERYTHING?
When you pick up your child(ren's) egg collecting bag at our welcome tents, you will be given a map showing the location layout.
WHAT CAN MY CHILD DO WHILE THEY WAIT FOR THEIR EGG DROP?
There will be inflatables, face tattoos, photo booths with the Easter Bunny, petting of goats and other activities for kids. Additionally, we will provide families tours of our kids ministry spaces.
IS THERE A CHARGE TO HAVE YOUR PICTURE MADE WITH THE EASTER BUNNY?
No, it is free. Please bring your own camera to take the picture. We do not take the picture.
DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING THEIR OWN BASKET TO COLLECT EGGS?
Nope...we've got you covered and will provide you with a collection bag. There will be no baskets allowed.
HOW MANY EGGS WILL MY CHILD BE ALLOWED?
We are excited to provide 40,000 eggs total this year! PLEASE limit your child to 10-15 eggs. This will allow others to obtain eggs.
WHAT IS IN EACH EGG?
The eggs will have a piece of candy. Each age division will have 1 special egg with a mini helicopter inside. If your child finds a special egg, they win a helicopter ride that will take place immediately after the egg scramble. Please take the time to check your child's eggs to see if they have won a helicopter ride. Take the mini helicopter to the helicopter landing area. The child who wins and parent will be allowed to ride the helicopter.
CAN I KEEP THE EGGS?
Yes, but if you'd like to recycle them there will be designated trash cans for empty, plastic eggs.
WHAT IF MY CHILD DOESN'T GET ANY EGGS?
After each egg drop, volunteers will be walking around with extra eggs for children who did not receive any eggs. There will also be eggs given out at each kids' activity station to ensure each child gets eggs.
CAN I HELP MY CHILD AT THE EGG DROP?
The Egg Drop Scramble is for kids ages 3 years old - 5th grade. All parents are asked to stay outside of the roped off area.
IS THIS A SAFE EVENT?
Yes, we have taken every precaution to make this event as safe as possible. Our high-level trained Security team will be present during the event, as well as, many volunteers.
WHAT IF MY CHILD GETS SEPARATED FROM ME?
We will have a lost and found tent located at the First Aid Station near the Egg Drop. We are asking parents to put their cell phone number on their child's bracelet which can be found in their egg collection bag. We will call that number to let you know we have your child at the lost and fou
